Jan Ickx, born 1984 in Charleroi, Belgium, worked as as a a video rental store clerk in Wuppertal, Germany when he first began working on photographic projects. After studying sociology at Brussels University Jan moved to Berlin, where he joined imaging dissent to persue his photographic work, which evolves around his fascination with contradictions and cracks in late-capitalism’s narratives.

Jan is represented by imaging dissent, studio for visual communication and politics of the image.
